Florin Covaciu

General Manager – SPBD Vanuatu

Florin has more than 20 years of rich experience in the financial services industry. Before joining as General Manager for SPBD Vanuatu, he served as COO and Deputy CEO for FINCA Haiti.  Skilled in management, leadership, risk management, and organizational development, Florin has successfully served in senior management positions with large microfinance and other financial institutions, including Good.bee credit SA Romania, Carpatica Commercial Bank (BCC), Opportunity Microcredit Romania (OMRO) and CHF International in Romania. 

Florin holds a BA in Chemistry from Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania and has completed post-university certifications in business administration and management from the University of Minnesota and from the British Open University.  He has also studied at the Romanian Banking Institute.
